We are an In-house Pool Division: owning and operating pools in Apartment Communities we own. We currently have 56 pools in the Baltimore and Washington area. Being an In-House pool company, profit is not our number one concern. Our number one priority is providing our customers with the best lifeguards and the best possible customer service.

Wage Lifeguard: $15/hour

Pool operator: $15.50/hour

Overtime sometimes, overtime wage 1.5x regular wage

Before mid-June and after mid-August, the pools shift to a different opening schedule, reflecting the school hours of corresponding counties.

Housing: Provided

Cost of housing is $2000 for the entire season. There will be 6 deductions of $333.33 for housing as well as 1 deduction of $75.00 for the uniform. This will be the same for every participant.

Housing deposit $250: $50 nonrefundable administrative fee + $200 refundable cleaning fee if you complete the program and the apartment is left in a clean and damage free condition.

 

All utilities (gas, electricity, trash, water) are included in housing costs and basic furnishings (i.e. bed, dresser, table, couch, chairs, lights, cleaning supplies). Please note that bedding items (sheets, blankets, pillows), bathroom items (towels, toilet paper), kitchen items (dishes, silverware, tableware), and eating supplies are not included in housing costs and are not provided.

Phone, Cable and Internet are not included.

Apartments have one, two, or three bedrooms and are furnished. They all have a bathroom, kitchen (includes refrigerator, stove, oven, and sink), and a living room. 2 people will share one bedroom.

Virginia – Fairfax County, Alexandria, Prince William County

Pools are located in apartment communities and hotels. 

How to get to work? 

You will be working as close to the community in which you live as possible. In most cases you will be actually working where you are staying and you will need 2-5 minutes to get to work and start your shift. In a few cases, you may need to utilize public transportation, ride a bike, or walk depending on distance. Housing is located within 0-5 miles to your job site.

 

Pick-up at the airport: can be arranged for groups

Recommended to arrive in Washington D.C. Dulles Airport (IAD) or by bus in Silver Spring Metro Station from Monday through Friday in afternoon hours.

Participants MUST inform the employer of their arrival date and location prior to arrival (airline, flight number, date, time, and the name of the airport). The most efficient method of transportation from the airport to the office is to pay for the Super Shuttle service.
