Food Service Associate duties:
– Greets guests approaching stand
– Serves food and beverage items in correct proportions, following proper sanitation guidelines
– If 19 years or older, serves alcoholic beverages responsibly, requests identification, and adheres to all unit and company alcohol service policies and procedures. Ohio alcohol laws permit adults 19 years or older serve alcohol in venues for on-site consumption.
– Disposes of all waste
– Participates in set-up of stand, arranges inventory, and notifies Stand Lead of any inventory deficiency or shortages
– Performs clean-up duties in the stand to maintain the quality appearance of the work area, including cleaning equipment and using chemicals
– Prepares food products in stand according to Company standards and specifications
– Washes dishes
– Shows flexibility by rotating to other stands when necessary
Busser duties:
– Delivers food and beverage orders from service areas to guests in Club area in an efficient and timely manner
– Provides quick and attentive assistance to any mishap
– Assists wait staff in clearing tables
– Cleans areas and assists with set-up and clean-up
– Assists host staff with seating and other club needs
– Refills guests’ empty water glasses
– Set up and break down of service areas
– Restocks service areas at end of shift
– Washing dishes
Food Service Associate duties:
– Prepares food to specifications before and during unit operations
– Properly measures and portions all food items
– Complies with all portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies, and procedures
– Cooks all food to proper specifications in a timely manner
– Utilizes basic kitchen equipment such as knives, whips, pots, pans, warmers, steamers, grills, and ovens to prepare food items
– Ensures proper food temperatures are maintained and food is stored correctly
– Washes dishes
– Ensures freshness and quality of all menu items
– Packages all products to proper specifications
– Performs opening, closing, and side work duties as instructed and according proper
guidelines
– Keeps workstation and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked
– Follows and upholds all health codes and sanitation regulations
– Sets up and operates kitchen equipment
– Uses waste control guidelines and records all waste on spoilage sheet
– Completes end of day inventory and other opening or closing duties in accordance with company checklists and procedures
Progressive Field is the home of the Cleveland Guardians (professional baseball
team). Participants will be receiving more hours during the heart of the baseball
season. June, August and September. July may bring lower hours per week, as the MLB All Star break is during this month.
Participants will work according to the Cleveland Guardians Baseball schedule.
This means participants will work about 3-7 days in a row, then have 4-6 days off.
Participants are encouraged to plan their travel and second job schedules around the baseball schedule. Participants will usually be scheduled for hours when a home game is played. While the number of hours per week will vary, participants will still work at least 38 hours per week on average over the duration of their program.
Uniform: Participants need to provide their own black cotton pants and black or neutral color slip resistant shoes. No jeans, leggings, shorts, spandex are allowed. No open toed shoes or shoes with heels. The uniform shirt is provided. The employer recommends bringing a white plain (no logos or additional markings) t-shirt to be worn underneath.
Jewelry should be minimal with no more than two earrings per ear. No other piercings are allowed.
The employer also requires all hair and nail color to be neutral and natural colors.
